More music is offered at the Veterans Memorial Arena in Downtown Jacksonville on Thursday with a performance by Jason Aldean with Luke Bryan and Rachel Farley.  Jason Aldean is an American country music singer, who won the American Country Award in 2011 for best  artist.  Of his singles, seven have reached the number one position on the Hot Country Songs charts: “Why”, “She’s Country”, “Big Green Tractor”, “The Truth”, “Don’t You Wanna Stay” (a duet with Kelly Clarkson), “Dirt Road Anthem”, and “Fly Over States.” Eight more have reached top ten on the same chart.

The music continues on into Friday at the Southbank on the Riverfront Deck at River City Brewing where some of the hottest bands in Downtown Jacksonville will be playing on Friday nights during the River Rally.  The featured performers for Friday, August 10th, are Ralph E and the Jammers. After they perform, a DJ will be spinning from 10 pm to midnight.
