<p>First Coast No More Homeless Pets runs a Pet Food Bank for qualified low-income pet owners to help keep pets with their families and out of shelters.  The Pet Food Bank gives out between 10,000 and 20,000 pounds of food at each distribution and relies solely on donations and volunteers.</p>
<p><b>Scooby-Doo! Live – Musical Mysteries</b> is a hilarious live theater show that brings everyone&#8217;s favorite animated series to life!</p>

This one-man comedy show plays at the Times-Union Center’s Terry Theater in downtown Jacksonville for one sneak preview performance on Saturday, June 8<sup>th</sup> at 8PM.</p>
<p>Moving swiftly through a series of vignettes, Men Are From Mars – Women Are From Venus LIVE! covers everything from dating and marriage to the bedroom. This fusion of theatre and stand-up stars Peter Story and is based on the New York Times #1 best-selling book by John Gray. This hysterical show will have couples elbowing each other all evening as they see themselves on stage.</p>

<li>Or celebrate Mother’s Day early aboard the Honey Fitz, former yacht of several presidents, most notably John F. Kennedy who sailed aboard her and named her the “Honey Fitz”.  The yacht will be docked at the Jacksonville Landing from May 9-14.  The yacht, which can comfortably accommodate 50 passengers, will set sail for a 2.5 hour river cruise on Saturday, May 11.  Boarding will begin at 4:00 PM and end at 4:30.</li>

<p><strong>Thursday, May 2</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Celtic Woman will be performing at the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts, for Thursday night only.  The signature sound of Celtic Woman is truly unique and moving and includes such songs as  as “The Water Is Wide,” “Green Grow the Rushes,” and “The Parting Glass;“Bridge Over Troubled Water” and “Sailing”.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Friday, May 3</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>For the golfer, Friday is “Tee Off Downtown” at the Jacksonville Shipyards on the Northbank, which will be transformed into a music and golf festival. Food trucks will be whipping up their delectable treats, and cash bars will be offered as well.</li>
<li>The Annual Spring Concert by the Friday Musicale chorus will be performed with Kate Agnew, Nancy Agnew, May Beattie, Helen Benjamin, Doris Boone, Judy Davidson, Julia De Pauw, Jennie Dunnington, Ginger Haller, Gwen Hernandez, Mike McDowell, Peggy Power, Barbara Sapp, Nell Stahl.</li>
<li>AX Dancing with the Stars at Jacoby Symphony Hall will feature local celebrities partnered with professional dancers from A Social Affair Dance Studio, who will be competing to be named Jacksonville&#8217;s favorite dancer! All of the Jacksonville Children&#8217;s Chorus choirs and professional dancers will also perform.</li>
<li>Movies in the Park will be showing “Brave” (rated PG) at the Wyndham Jacksonville Riverwalk</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Saturday, May 4</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>The popular Community First Saturdays will be held at Northbank Riverwalk. May 4th might be the most important day in Jacksonville history. It was the day after the Great Fire of 1901. And like in 2013, May 4th was the first Saturday of the month.  So this Saturday be sure to bring the kids to see the fire trucks.</li>
<li>Pre-Cinco de Mayo specials will be offered at the The Landing – Jager style! There will be live music in the Courtyard as well as in many of the Landing’s other bars and restaurants so come join us for a fun night at the Landing.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Thursday through Sunday, May 5</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Over the past two weeks, Jacksonville has been commemorating the arrival of Jean Ribault 451 years ago. Join us and the city as we continue to indulge in our French flair with great restaurants and businesses offering French Week Specials.</li>
